To mark the end of summer, we're having a get together at the Cricket Pavilion on Friday October 7th from 5pm onwards, adults and children all welcome. Come along after work - the bar will be open and food available all evening.

Some decent wines will be on offer courtesy of Petworth's greatest Canadian, Robert Wattie, who has been a great help with the Pavilion bar this summer.

It's been an exciting few months, being given the opportunity to get cricket going again at Petworth Park and seeing so much enthusiasm from you all. You'll be able to find out more about the next steps on Friday 7th.

Particularly, it was great to see how many young cricketers and parents came along to our very first cricket sessions this August - over 50 girls and boys, signed up and enjoyed some fun sessions with Sussex Cricket Foundation coach 'Smithy' and Petworth's own Ally. And a massive thank you to Jennie & Chris Thorpe (probably in that order, no disrespect Chris) for organising it, and everyone who helped them to pull it together - what a team!
